Classes

Manners Not Mayhem
puppy steadiness

The course is all about teaching our young and novice dog’s basic good manners and is the foundation class that all other training is built upon. It is the only one of the Trained for Life classes that is split between puppies and dogs.

Fun and uplifting, Manners not Mayhem also focusses on solid basic dog training and includes, amongst other things, loose lead walking, recall, playtime, food manners and go on your bed as well as the foundation exercises of sit and down.

The Well-Mannered Dog
stay

Picking up where Manners not Mayhem leaves off, The Well-Mannered Dog class is, as you might guess, all about having a well-mannered dog that you can go out and about with and be proud of.

This fun and uplifting course starts to challenge your training skills and your dog’s focus as off lead walking is introduced, recalling past distractions, as well as STOP!, and recalling to heel.

Trained for Life ®
fetch!

A course like no other, this class really raises the bar in relation to training your dog around other dogs and includes amongst many other things stopping your dog around other dogs, recalling your dog around other dogs, finding items of ‘lost’ clothing, retrieving and an introduction to scent discrimination.

An exciting end of class assessment will leave you amazed at how far you and your dog have travelled on your training journey, and, by continuing at home to apply all that you’ve learned, you will, ‘as it says on the tin’, have a dog that is Trained for Life.
