Most pet insurance companies recognise the Canine & Feline Behaviour Association of Great Britain (CFBA)
for clients who are referred by their veterinary surgeon; as Lez is a full member of the CFBA you may be
able
to use your pet insurance for a consultation. Pet Insurance
does not cover dog training.
It's recommended that you contact your insurance provider in advance of
booking a consultation to check the
details of cover and or exceptions within their specific policy type. If you contact Lez directly and wish
to use your
pet insurance she'll recommend that you contact your vet to obtain a
referral, either verbal or
written depending on the company that your dog
is insured with and their requirements.
Your vet will subsequently receive a copy of the report for their perusal.
If the behaviour presented is
such that it is felt that a medical examination
of the dog in question is relevant (to the exhibited behaviour
problem)
you'll be advised accordingly.
Consultation fees are payable at the consultation.
Due to the success of the consultation process; 95%
of clients are
seen once and 5% are seen twice.
